  • Technology-aided Chinese Big Brother Makes Thousands Disappear

    Chinese stormtroopersBy Selwyn Duke

The Chinese regime is using countless video cameras and face scans to monitor citizens — and thousands have already vanished. It’s a cautionary tale about how modern technology threatens to make totalitarianism truly total.

The surveillance in this case concerns one particular region in China, Xinjiang, which a local police officer chillingly informed is home to “tens of thousands of cameras.”

  • The Decline and Fall of American Nationhood

    Divided AmericaBy Selwyn Duke

It’s a sad fact of man’s nature that we tend to operate based on emotion more than reason. This comes to mind when considering how illegal migration, a.k.a. invasion, has now again surged back to almost Obama-era levels. Some are theorizing why this is so, looking at the micro, but an important factor is minimized: not enough people care.

Oh, they care about some things: sports, entertainment, money, sex, bread and circuses. But the familial passion that should characterize a nation is largely absent.

  • Is Trump Admin. Policing Some of the Word Police’s Favorite Words?

    Silenced GirlBy Selwyn Duke

It has long been said that the side that defines the vocabulary of a debate wins the debate. This is why the Left has ever manipulated language, advancing their version of “Newspeak.” Conservatives will generally parrot this reflexively, which is why it was surprising to read that the Trump administration banned the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from using seven terms, such as “transgender” and “fetus,” in official budget documents.

  • Trump Nominates LGBT Activist to Head EEOC — Which Shouldn’t Even Exist

Big Man Stepping on Small ManBy Selwyn Duke

In yet another swamp victory, the Trump administration has decided to re-nominate a radical LGBT activist and Obama-era holdover for commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) — a bureaucracy that shouldn’t even exist.

Lesbian Chai Feldblum has been serving in the post since 2010, having been made EEOC head without Senate approval, via an Obama recess appointment. And from some dark recesses is whence her ideology comes. As Powerline reported Tuesday, “Feldblum is…the architect of the Obama administration’s radical LGBT agenda, including its policy mandating that transgender individuals can use the restroom of their choice” — in other words, sexually confused boys in girls’ locker rooms.

  • Misandry Rises: In Defense of Men

    Female SoldierBy Selwyn Duke

Don’t vote for men!” is the message of a recent campaign ad.  Issued by Dana Nessel, Democratic attorney general contender in Michigan, what she literally says is, “Who can you trust most not to show you their [sic] penis in a professional setting?”

She answers that it’s the candidate who doesn’t have one.

Now, a person could easily go tit for tat (not that I’d ever consider such a thing!). Noting how some voters, addressing politicians’ pusillanimity, lament how we need leaders with “a pair,” one could ask “Who can you trust most to have a pair?” and answer “The candidate who by definition has one.”

But the anti-male bias animating Nessel has long been brewing. In 2004, Sweden’s Left Party (yeah, that’s its actual name) proposed a “Man Tax,” a special levy on men designed to compensate society for the cost of male violence. I always answer that I’ll be happy to pay my man tax — as long as I also get royalties for all of history’s man-birthed inventions and innovations. I’ll then use what’s left over to self-fund a presidential run.

  • The Swamp Wins: Roy Moore Defeated in Alabama

    Snake and AppleBy Selwyn Duke

In what surely was one of the dirtier campaigns in American history, Judge Roy Moore was narrowly defeated in the Alabama special Senate election today by his hard-left opponent, Doug Jones. The campaign was dominated by attacks on Moore, which distracted voters not only from Jones’ hard-left positions but also from the election’s true significance: The loss has narrowed the Republicans’ Senate majority to 51-49, thus imperiling President Trump’s agenda and ability to shape the Supreme Court.

The Left and establishment Right pulled out all the stops to defeat Moore. Approximately a month before the election, the Washington Post (and then other media) accused the judge of having committed sexual misconduct 40 years ago. Yet the story was mischaracterized by Machiavellian media, prevaricating politicians, and artifice-practiced activists almost from the get-go.

  • Establishment’s Frank Luntz Tries to Shame Roy Moore Voters

Frank Luntz In AlabamaBy Selwyn Duke

It wasn’t exactly “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” but Frank Luntz did go down to Alabama — and ran a Roy Moore focus group in a devilishly biased way.

Asking leading questions loaded with incorrect implications, the GOP-establishment messaging consultant was flabbergasted when he couldn’t get his desired answers and the Alabama focus-group stayed steadfast in its support for Republican Senate candidate Moore.

Moore, who many believe is the victim of a smear campaign involving 40-year-old sexual misconduct allegations, will face Democrat Doug Jones in Tuesday’s special election for now-attorney general Jeff Sessions’ open Senate seat.

In a segment that aired on HBO’s Vice News Tonight on December 8, Luntz (shown) began with a tactic common among secular moderns.

  • Eskimos: There May Be “Too Many Polar Bears Now”

    Ice AgeBy Selwyn Duke

“There’s too many polar bears now.” This observation, which runs counter to the global-warming dogma that rising temperatures are decimating bear populations, was made by Eskimos — people who actually live among the bears.

  • A Proposal for a One-world “Democratic” Government

One Global Democracy SSBy Selwyn Duke

“My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders,” said Hillary Clinton in a paid 2013 speech. But while we only learned of these comments courtesy of WikiLeaks, some dream bigger and more openly — such as Peter Schurman, founder of One Global Democracy. Interviewed on the December 6 edition of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, he boldly laid out his vision: a world without countries, where every adult gets a vote to determine how you will live.

That means the voting age population among 1.4 billion Chinese, 1.3 billion Indians, 1.2 billion Africans and 1.8 billion Muslims (yes, there’s some overlap there) — the vast majority of the world — would largely determine policies governing 330 million people living in the former United States. Of course, though, eliminating borders would mean we’d perhaps end up with one billion living in the former United States.
