If so, well, don’t take for granted that you’ll be able to drink your woes away. Because now the speech-squelching Labour Party, the equivalent of U.S. Democrats, has another bright idea.

    They want to tamp down the age-old tradition of English pub culture.

    Oh, this isn’t over concern about health or drunkenness-associated problems. Rather, they’re reportedly doing it for a thoroughly modern(ist) reason: There are many Muslims in Britain now.

    And Muslims don’t like alcohol.

  • Who Are More Honest, Democrats or Republicans? Their Professions Tell the Tale

    “There is a level of adherence to rules on the other side [Republicans] that only when you’re at the very highest level, do you get over.” The preceding was uttered by a Democratic operative named Scott Foval while caught on hidden video in 2016. Foval knows of what he speaks, too — his business is rule-breaking (vote fraud).

    But are Republicans really more honest than Democrats? Well, the two groups’ characteristic professions may provide some insight.

  • The “Culture Wars” Are Actually a War for Civilization

    “Are Republicans losing the culture wars?” left-wing Politico asked recently. A better question is, though: Are we, as Americans, losing the war for our civilization?

    Moreover, how do we define “winning”? If a party triumphs politically by promising to rain down toxins upon us that most people mistake for manna from Heaven, who, if anyone, has won anything?

    The “Left hates the Constitution and constitutionalism,” I wrote in 2018. And there’s a simple reason for this: “The Constitution is a conservative document.”

    Contrary to what most think, “conservative” above only means that the document serves to maintain a status quo. It limits the change the government can effect, and the Constitution itself is difficult to alter via the Amendment Process.

    People obsessed with “change” don’t like this, however; hence their “living document” rationalization. But sometimes in recent years, just every so often, a Constitution-hater has worn his banners openly and called for the document to be sent to re-education camp.

  • Exorcist: Yes, Voting for the “Lesser of Two Evils” Is the Moral Thing to Do

    “If you look for the bad in people, you will surely find it.” This quotation, generally attributed to Abe Lincoln, alludes to a simple truth: Everyone is a sinner — no one is perfect.

    A corollary of this is that there’s no such thing as a “perfect” candidate (not literally speaking, anyway). Despite this, some people behave as if having the choice of only “the lesser of two evils,” as many put it, means they shouldn’t vote at all. But this is misguided, says a man who is something of an expert on evil.

    “Britain is now an elite dictatorship where majority opinions are crushed,” wrote the Telegraph last year. That was before, too, the recent imprisonment of Brits for unapproved social-media posts, for, quote, “stirring ‘racial hatred.”

    (Here’s the evidence, your honor: Here’s the cup the defendant used. Here, in a hazmat container, is what’s left of the eight ounces of racial hatred he poured in. Here’s the spoon….)

    And now the U.K. may have another reason to arrest and charge social media users: “extreme misogyny.” This, we hear, is poised to become akin to terrorism under British law.

  • Kamalush? Rumor: VP Harris Has a Serious Drinking Problem

    Kamala Harris is known among many for word salads, bizarre cackling, odd bodily movements during speeches and, in recent times, refusal to do press conferences and interviews. Most had chalked this behavior up to incompetence and lacking ability, too. But now another explanation has come to light:

    Harris, a rumor holds, has a serious alcohol problem.

    In fact, relates one observer, sources close to the candidate “suggest that her aides are struggling to manage her sobriety.” This explains her schedule of limited “pre-arranged rallies” and why she often “appears intoxicated upon disembarking from flights.”

    It would also explain something else: Harris’s reportedly erratic, abusive behavior toward staff. This includes berating underlings, continual profanity and, bizarrely, forbidding junior staff from looking her in the eye. As someone I know mentioned, this prohibition makes sense if Harris’s eyes reflect inebriation, being bloodshot, glossy, and vacant.

    By the way, the information about Harris’s boss-from-Hell status comes from a longtime Democrat.

  • Failure Femmes: DEI’s Tragic Destruction of Law Enforcement

    It was 10 years ago already that the Obama administration sued the Pennsylvania State Police for treating women equally. Female applicants, they said, should not have to meet the same already dumbed-down physical standards the men do. This mentality, epitomized by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) schemes, has long reigned all across law enforcement — and beyond. The consequences are now apparent, too:

    Many women in law enforcement are failing miserably and are imperiling others in the process.
