Presumptive vice-presidential nominee Tim Walz (D-Minn.) might’ve fiddled while Minneapolis burned and skedaddled when Iraq duty called, but he sure didn’t waver when it came to fighting a woke battle: changing his state’s supposedly non-inclusive flag.
In fact, while Walz might’ve never been the “Command Sergeant Major” he’s claimed to be for political gain, he sure is the four-star general of destroying history, say critics.

Lest you think our mainstream media are inveterate enemies of tradition, know that their opposition to it is selective. In fact, they now appear to want chivalry applied to female politicians, in the form of protecting them from negative social-media comments.
“Don’t hit girls!” is what’s essentially being said.
Perhaps coincidentally, too, this concern apparently arose after Kamala Harris became the Democrats’ presumptive presidential nominee. Why, a cynic could think this is all driven by a desire to help get her elected.

“Hey hey, ho ho, Western Civ has got to go” chanted racial agitator Jesse Jackson and 500 demonstrators back at Stanford University in 1987. As with a cancer left untreated, too, it didn’t end there but metastasized. And whether it’s now stage 3 or stage 4, where we currently are is well exemplified by a shocking story out of Columbia University:
One-hundred sixteen different groups there, all part of a coalition, are united in a goal — “We are Westerners,” they write, “fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization.”

Is the title of this article “misinformation”? Governor Tim Walz (D-Minn.) certainly would say so. Many observers say the opposite, though, with Walz having stated in a recently unearthed interview that there’s “no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech.” His defenders would aver here, however, “That’s taken out of context!”
That’s the rub, too, isn’t it?
Ferreting out the Truth is often difficult. And this is precisely why we have a First Amendment that does not prohibit “hate speech” or misinformation: What’s “hate speech” now may be considered constructive criticism later.
And today’s “misinformation” may be tomorrow’s axiomatic observation.
No, I’m not getting relativistic — just realistic.

One thing riots, such as the ones currently roiling Britain, are good for is serving as a distraction. For example, consider what we know — and are not being told — about what sparked the unrest: the murders of three little girls and injuring of 10 others at a Southport, U.K., dance class last Monday.
We’ve seen much hand wringing over misinformation about the killer, 17-year-old Axel Rudakubana, about how he was incorrectly identified on social media as a Muslim asylum seeker. In reality, authorities told us, he was born in Britain to Christian Rwandan immigrants. Alright, fair enough. But all the focus on the Right-wing™, Racist™ riots has distracted us from an elephant in the room: Where’s the rest of the information about Rudakubana?
In particular, why no news about his motive?

“Neither a borrower nor a lender be,” wrote William Shakespeare in Hamlet. If the U.S. government had taken this age-old advice, we perhaps wouldn’t be in a dire financial situation epitomized by a shocking statistic:
In June, 76 percent of all personal income tax revenue was needed to pay interest on our $35 trillion national debt.
This helps clarify why, with the federal government having become a legalized counterfeiting operation, more than 80 percent of all the dollars in existence have been printed just since 2020. The bottom line?

When then-18-year-old South African runner Caster Semenya was dusting female competition in races and arousing suspicion about “her” sexual status almost a generation ago, I made a prediction:
Medical tests would determine that Semenya had internal testes.
Sure enough, this was the case, examination results showed upon coming to light. Furthermore, Semenya was found to have an XY (male) genotype and also no womb or ovaries.
You wouldn’t know it, though, from recent years’ reporting, with outlets merely describing the runner as having “naturally elevated levels of testosterone.” Well, yes, hermaphroditism is not normal — but it is “natural.”
Now there’s a similar controversy surrounding Algerian Olympic boxer Imane Khelif, especially after one of the fighter’s opponents, Italian Angela Carini, quit in her bout against Khelif, exclaiming “This is unjust!” Only, now, defenders of willful blindness have a new strategy: the race card. As the Associated Press put it yesterday: “For female athletes of color, scrutiny around gender rules and identity is part of a long trend.” Perhaps — so is media misdirection.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable,” noted President John F. Kennedy in 1962. This could occur to a person pondering the anti-balkanization riots currently roiling the United Kingdom.
Then again, the British not long ago had a chance to effect peaceful “revolution” via the ballot box — and they empowered the very party, Labour (tantamount to our Democrats), most responsible for the crime-breeding immigration people are now rioting over.
So nothing has changed, least of which the double standard governing who may be violent in Britain. Just consider the following headline relating to riots in Leeds just two weeks ago:

“The Land the Law Forgot,” is what liberal legal scholar Jonathan Turley called New York in June. Oh, it’s not that it doesn’t have laws; it’s got so many, in fact, that studies found it to be our country’s least free state. It’s that N.Y.’s supposed law enforcers are ideological enforcers, using and going beyond the Empire State’s surfeit of strictures to build an empire of left-wing conformity.
And now Letitia James, the notorious N.Y. attorney general who tag-teamed with a judge to try to pummel former President Donald Trump, has claimed another scalp: nonprofit anti-(destructive)immigration entity VDARE, which, after three years of lawfare attacks, is going to be suspending operations. The kicker:
James has not charged VDARE with anything, says site founder Peter Brimelow.
So this goes beyond even Stalin secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria’s vow, “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”
It’s “Show me the man and I’ll show you the process-is-punishment lawfare method.”
