• Impeach Schwarzenegger

    By Selwyn Duke

Proving that he is about as conversant with American civics as his foreign accent would indicate, Arnold Schwarzenegger has essentially stated that the will of the people means nothing to him.  Michael Rothfeld and Tony Barboza writing at the Los Angeles Times report:

  • Communism on the Rise

It may be clichéd to quote George Santayana and say that those who
forget the mistakes of the past are damned to repeat them, but truer
words were never spoken. Although it may be hard for those who remember
Soviet bread lines to believe – and even harder for the well-versed in
history who learned of Soviet mass starvation – workers of the world
are once again uniting under the red banner. In Japan, for instance,
economic stagnation, depressed wages, and a workforce that is 44
percent part-time only has created fertile ground for the Japanese
Communist Party (JCP), now the nation’s fourth largest political party.
Treating this at Telegraph.co.uk, Danielle Demetriou writes:

  • Laissez-faire Lies

    By Selwyn Duke

It’s no secret to the informed that statists are using the current financial crisis as a pretext to increase the power and scope of government.  Yet, the bold-faced lies shameless politicians and pundits will tell in the service of this cause are striking.  And one of them concerns the fanciful notion that we have a laissez-faire economy.

  • Reader Email: You’re Wrong, Duke, the Constitution is a Perfect Document!

    By Selwyn Duke

Recently I wrote a piece titled "Obama the Justifier," which exposed President-elect Uh-change’s contempt for the Constitution.  In it, while I defended the supreme law of the land, I also stated that is wasn’t as if people such as myself believe the Constitution is infallible.  My purpose in doing this was to point out that while, like the left, we might have ideas about how the document could be even better, unlike the left, we have enough discipline, respect and honor to accept the proposition that if you live in a constitutional republic, you should abide by its constitution (unless its dictates are tyrannical).  While I think this is reasonable, a reader took exception to one element of my position, writing:

  • Jesse Jackson’s Tears

JessejacksontearsJesse Jackson was moved to tears by Barack Obama’s presidential victory last night, but what was the man really thinking?  Well, since I’ve been blessed with the power of telepathy, I can tell you.

Ol’ Jesse was truly moved by the realization of how this historic day had changed things irrevocably and thought to himself:

"All the secret service around . . . .  Now I’ll never get a chance to rip his ____ off!"

  • Historic Election: America Chooses Her First Red President

    By Selwyn Duke

Congratulations, America!  You have elected a fairly nice looking, charismatic, well-managed Marxist.

Equally ridiculous, the odious Al Franken is ahead of incumbent Republican Norm Coleman in the Minnesota senate race.  Well, Franken was never funny as a comedian, but he sure will be funny (in the strangest of ways) as a senator.

And, just so the lost 52 percent may know what they have visited upon us, I present the following quotation from Cicero:

    A
nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot
survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable,
for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves
amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through
all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For
the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his
victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the
baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a
nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the
pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no
longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

  • Voter Intimidation by Black Panthers in Philadelphia
    http://youtube.com/v/aCeD1RcJjAg
Here we have an example of real voter intimidation, which, as people of discernment understand, it practiced almost exclusively by the left.  And here is the kicker: The reporters allude to the fact that localities are refraining from having a police presence at polling places because they don’t want to be accused of voter intimidation.

OK, so let’s get this straight.  We’re not going to have police at polling places because A, we might be accused of "racism," and B, it might intimidate a few thugs.  So, instead, we’ll allow the thugs to intimidate the good people.  Well, that’s Amerika for you.  Political correctness strikes again.

  • Obama the Justifier

Election reportage is reaching a fever pitch, and one of the hottest stories concerns a recently revealed interview
Barack Obama gave to Chicago Public Radio in 2001. In it, then Illinois
state senator Obama talked about whether his desire to spread the
wealth around might be better accomplished legislatively or through the
courts and lamented that the latter hadn’t done enough to further this
    socialist goal.

  • Barack Obama Will Steal Your Future
    http://youtube.com/v/UEvvml2JJaU
Well, I’ve finally decided to enter the third millennium.  I’ve long wanted to plunge into the realm of video commentary, since visual media long ago trumped the written word, and here is my first effort.  It’s out with the old and in with the new.

OK, I do jest, as I have no intention of dispensing with tradition.  I’ll still be wielding my quill pen, dipping it in the ink well, wearing the powdered wig and defending the home front with my flintlock.  But the fact is that if a picture is worth a thousand words, how many more is moving footage worth?

This video is an appeal to young voters, for whatever good it’s going to do.

  • Guest Column: Obama’s Economic Nazism

    By Bruce Walker

(Editor’s note: I don’t usually publish guest pieces at my site, but this one is a must-read.  It provides further evidence as to the true nature of Nazism.  And, after you read it, also take a look at Ace Walker’s {no relation} classic "American Fascism" and my piece Hitler and Christianity, which proves that, just like the left, the Nazis sought to destroy Christianity.  Taken together, they are a three-punch knockout dispelling the myth that fascism is a product of the "right.")

    Barack Obama, in his recently
released infamous radio interview of seven years ago, opined that America was
beginning to resemble Nazism. No: Obama is wrong. What Obama himself proposes are economic
policies almost identical to Nazism. The Left has refused to claim the Nazis,
even though the Nazis considered themselves the mortal enemies of conservatives,
the champions of “change” which would help ordinary people … and socialists. The
historical facts show just how much of what Obama wants and what the Nazis
    actually did look the same.
