• Al Sharpton at it Again

    By Selwyn Duke

Well, Al Sharpton, a lowlife’s lowlife, is at it again.  Now he’s threatening to "close down" New York City because the three officers charged in the Sean Bell shooting were acquitted.  In other words, they weren’t lynched the way Sharpton would have preferred.

  • When Will We Admit the Truth About Barack Obama?

If you interview someone for a job, you’ll expect him
to tell you what you want to hear. There’ll
be a façade, and his darker side will remain well-hidden. Now, let’s say a requirement for the job is
that the applicant likes children, and he does his best Captain Kangaroo. But then you find out he has a job history of
indifference to and perhaps even abuse of them and that, during unguarded
moments, he has expressed disdain for them. What will you believe, what he tries to sell you or history and
    hair-down revelations?

  • Girls, Cries, and Videotape

    By Selwyn Duke

We’ve heard the stories about girls viciously beating
rivals, and recently nine third-graders hatched a plot
to kill their teacher. Yes, childhood
misbehavior, once typified by Dennis the Menace or Leave it to Beaver’s Eddie Haskell, is now
    often more sinister in nature.

  • Does Bill Want Hill to Lose?

    By Selwyn Duke

Writing at The Loft, Cheri Jacobus posits the theory that Bill Clinton’s missteps during the campaign are not missteps at all, but part of a Machiavellian strategy to ensure his wife’s defeat.  In making her case, Jacobus writes:

  • Clinton Wins Pa. — What Were We Talking about?

    By Selwyn Duke

So Hillary Clinton has won Pennsylvania, which means the media will have something to talk about for the next week at least.  Really, though, this is much ado about nothing; I mean, for approximately the last couple of months, her chances of winning the nomination have been between slim and none, and slim just . . . well, you know the rest (yes, I know it’s clichéd)

  • Barack and Hillary: Love is a Warm Gun

    By Selwyn Duke

Writing in The Wall Street Journal, David Kopel discusses Hillary Clinton’s and Barack Obama’s newfound love of guns.  The piece is titled "The Democrats and Gun Control," and Kopel does an excellent job of exposing the comic hypocrisy exhibited by these hard-core leftists who now masquerade as staunch supporters of second-amendment rights.  Kopel begins:

  • Gunning for Freedom of Association

If Florida Governor Charlie Crist signs the take-your-guns-to-work
measure into law, the state’s residents won’t have to worry about being
rendered defenseless in the workplace. This is a noble aim, and I can
certainly sympathize with the motivation behind it, as employers who
kowtow to political correctness find no favor with me. Yet I still must
    oppose the legislation.

  • Fascist French Prosecute Brigitte Bardot for Anti-Islamist Dissent

    By Selwyn Duke

I’m not sure when most of our somnolent countrymen will awake from their slumber and grasp the danger lying just on the horizon, but the speech-police fascists are getting more brazen by the day.  Now they’re prosecuting former film star Brigitte Bardot for "inciting racial hatred."

  • Unfair and Unbalanced

    By Selwyn Duke

The phrase “fair and balanced” certainly has a
positive connotation. It is thought the
greatest quality a news outlet can possess; it has even become a motto of the
Fox News Network. Yet I don’t find Fox
    very balanced at all.
