• Bill O’Reilly’s Bimbo Brigade

    By Selwyn Duke

Perhaps you haven’t noticed, but there’s an inordinate number of women — blond women — on pugnacious pundit Bill O’Reilly’s "O’Reilly Factor."  Of course, it’s impossible to find media outlets that don’t assemble their stable based on a quota model; it’s customary to hire a certain number of news babes and people of various ethnicities and racial backgrounds, regardless of competence.  But I sense that O’Reilly has taken it a step further.

  • Rats and Socialized Medicine

    By Selwyn Duke

Out of Britain comes a story about a teenager who decided against having an operation because he was told that there might be a dead rat in the operating room.  Ah, another one of the beauties of socialized medicine.

  • Obama Panders to Radical Homosexual Activists

Barack Obama, shameless demagogue that he is, is now pandering to the homosexual community, promising to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (signed into law by Bill Clinton) and further undermine Western Civilization.  Writing about it, WorldNetDaily.com tells us:

  • WorldNetDaily – Planned Parenthood: Wanting fewer blacks ‘understandable’

    938962_low
The bigoted ideas of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger are well documented.   She is a woman who once said,

"We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population."

Now, WorldNetDaily.com writes of a sting operation indicating that her spirit lives on within the organization.  WND columnist Bob Unruh tells us:

  • Making Government Indoctrination Compulsory

    2052845_lowBy Selwyn Duke

It’s hard to think of anything more near and dear to our hearts,
anything of which we’re more protective, than our children. It’s also
hard to imagine a more important right than that to raise one’s
children in accordance with the dictates of a well-formed conscience.
Now, though, the 2nd Appellate Court in Los Angeles has abrogated that
right, ruling that a homeschooling couple, Phillip and Mary Long, must
enroll their two youngest children in a government school or "legally
    qualified" private one.

  • Vindicating My Assessment of Most Voters

    By Selwyn Duke

I just issued a piece titled "Why Most Voters Shouldn’t Vote," and it has evoked a great response.  Virtually all the emails have been positive, by the way, but I nevertheless would like to buttress its thesis.  So I’m providing a couple of links to Sean Hannity’s "Man on the Street" interviews, wherein he asks everyday folks simple questions about politics and American history.  The ignorance is staggering.

  • Why Most Voters Shouldn’t Vote

    2005642_lowBy Selwyn Duke

Often the most fanciful ideas become the least
    questioned assumptions. In this election
season a few have made themselves apparent, such as the notion that “change” is
good by definition and “experience” is definitely good. Yet an even better example is the
oft-repeated platitude that greater voter participation yields a healthier republic.

  • Is South America on the Brink of War?

    By Selwyn Duke

It has received scant attention in the midst of our election season jostling, but a very explosive situation has developed in South America.  The Washington Times treated the matter yesterday, writing:

  • A Woman on Women

    By Selwyn Duke

I must say that my eyebrows were raised by a piece by Charlotte Allen titled "We Scream, We Swoon. How Dumb Can We Get?"  She writes about her incredulity at how emotion driven and bereft of logic so many of her fellow women are.  Now, it’s not the subject matter that shocked me but the fact that a leftist rag like The Washington Post would actually publish something so politically incorrect.  Wow . . . maybe these are the end times.

  • Boy, Do I Hate Duke

    By Selwyn Duke

Because my estimation of academia couldn’t possibly get any lower, nothing Duke University does to further abuse the lacrosse players it crucified shocks me.  However, the world should be kept apprised of how the phony, hypocritical scoundrels at the institution are comporting themselves.  As to this, Clarice Feldman writing at American Thinker reports:
