    campaign, they didn’t know he would repudiate the Southern Baptist
    Convention a generation later.  Today the very same constituency has
    glommed onto Mike Huckabee, and I can’t help but lament how history
    truly does repeat itself.

    WorldNetDaily.com has a must-read piece about how social engineers in Ca. are trying to brainwash children as young as two years old with homosexual propaganda.  Things such as this make my blood boil.  When I read it, I couldn’t help but think of something about millstones and ocean water.

  • The Media’s Inescapable Bias

    I happened to tune in to a documentary last night titled "God’s Christian Warriors."  It’s one segment of a three-part series on religion that is the handiwork of veteran reporter Christiane Amanpour.  It caught my eye while watching the program guide, as I expected the usual anti-Christian double standards.  I was not disappointed.

  • Al Gore Opens Mouth, Increases Carbon Footprint

    Speaking today to COOL-IT (Communists for Only Onerous and Lofty
    Industrial Taxation) in Nome, Alaska, former vice-president Al Gore
    criticized the United States’ failure to adequately address climate
    change.  Mr. Gore warned of future consequences of inaction while
    emphasizing that we have already felt the effects of a lamentably low
    suicide rate.  Gore mentioned the extinction of species, the melting of
    the polar ice caps, and his loss of Florida in the 2000 presidential

  • Emasculating the Viking

    Truth is stranger than fiction, and it’s growing stranger by the day.  In Sweden, the Nordic Battlegroup’s coat of arms has always depicted a heraldic lion that wields a sword and, well, let’s just say, is anatomically correct.  But now that nation’s armed forces have agreed to emasculate the cat after a group of ne’er-do-well female soldiers lodged a complaint to the "European Court of Justice."  So now the lion has been neutered.

  • How Free Are We Really?

    We Americans take great pride in our freedom.  We call ourselves “the
    land of the free, home of the brave,” have Lady Liberty in New York
    Harbor and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.  America is synonymous
    with freedom in the minds of most.  Much of the rest of the world,
    however, is thought a land of darkness which doesn’t benefit from our
    unencumbered bliss.  Thus do we speak of the free and unfree worlds.
