• Hating Christianity — and Attacking Believers — Becoming More Acceptable

    1746135_lowBy Selwyn Duke

“I expect to die in bed, my successor will die in prison, and his successor will die a martyr in the public square,” said then-archbishop of Chicago Francis George in 2010. Whether his successor, Archbishop Blase Cupich, 74, will die in prison may depend on whether he’s blessed (cursed?) with longevity. What’s for certain, however, is that 13 years after George’s statement, hatred of Christianity and attacks on its adherents have increased. So has tolerance for these dark phenomena and, sometimes, even tacit endorsement of them.

This is not surprising. Among the findings of the recent headline-grabbing Wall Street Journal poll revealing that the importance of “traditional American values” has plummeted among citizens is that just 39 percent of our people now say religious faith is very important to them. Just a bit more than a generation ago, in 1998, this figure was 62 percent. This is significant because secular societies have, as a rule, persecuted the church.

  • After MLK “Teaching” in School, White Boy Says He’ll Take Vengeance on Whites

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

With schools often portraying America negatively today, critics of this indoctrination may warn that young children just aren’t capable of properly processing such information. And now a real-life example of this has been caught on video — one in which a little white boy is seen vowing to take vengeance upon “the white” for the Martin Luther King Jr. assassination.

The boy’s attitude changed when his mother pointed out that he was mostly white, with the lad then apparently dealing with guilt. But this raises an obvious question: Is this healthy — for either the kids or our civilization?

And what does it bode for the future?

  • My Letter to the Minn. Official Who Demanded Parents Respect Their Kids’ Identities

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

Not long ago, footage surfaced of Minnesota lieutenant governor Peggy Flanagan lecturing kindly instructing parents on how to raise their children. Seeming very cult-member-like passionate, Flanagan insisted that we “listen” to youngsters and “believe them” when they have a fantasy about tell us who they are. So since she’s clearly delusional an expert, I concluded, “Who better to go to for further parenting advice?” and sent her a letter via computer. It follows.

  • Unintended Globalist Consequences? The Effort to Criminalize “Gender Apartheid”

    Arm-wrestling-Man vs. WomanBy Selwyn Duke

It’s a now old story: Man will so often tackle a radical mistake with another radical mistake and, in so doing, sometimes administer a “cure” worse than the disease. This appears to be the case again, too, with a proposal to make so-called gender apartheid illegal under international law.

The issue: Aghast at how women’s treatment is worsening in Afghanistan and Iran, some want to shackle the whole world with laws that would ban, as writer Akanksha Khullar puts it, “the social, economic or sexual discrimination of individuals based on their gender identities or sex.”

  • A Bone to Pick: Woke-joke Anthropology Professor Denies Male-female Skeletal Differences

Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

There’s no bones about it: The University of Pittsburgh (UoP) is not getting its money’s worth from at least one of its academics. It’s hard escaping this conclusion after Professor Gabby Yearwood insisted, during a recent UoP event, that an expert cannot determine a person’s sex by examining the individual’s bones.

Of course, this is regularly done when examining murder victims’ skeletal remains.

One might now assume Yearwood’s specialty is education or “gender” studies. But, no, it’s anthropology. In fact, he has a Ph.D. in the subject — as he reminded everyone after event attendees understandably met his claim with laughter.

The fanciful statement was made during….

  • Murder Study: America Is Really Quite Safe — Except for Some DEMOCRAT Areas

    Failure FigureBy Selwyn Duke

“America doesn’t have a crime problem,” wrote commentator Daniel Greenfield recently; “it has a Democrat problem.”

At issue is a finding that a mere one percent of United States counties — Democratic areas — account for a whopping 42 percent of our murders.

So it’s no wonder people issue quips such as (from under a Tuesday article of mine), “Just taking guns away from Democrats would reduce shootings by 90%.” If only such gun control actually worked.

But all this illustrates a truth: America really is a very safe country — except for small pockets of violence. While there are demographic reasons for this, too (more on that later), the Democrat link warrants elaboration.

  • The Link Between “Transgenderism” and Violence

    By Selwyn Duke

    Female SoldierBy Selwyn Duke

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that Audrey Hale, the woman who “identified” as a man and killed six at a Nashville Christian school Monday, was under care for an unnamed “emotional disorder.” It’s par for the course. In fact, ex-pediatric “transgender”-clinic worker and whistleblower Jamie Reed pointed out in February that the girls visiting her ex-employer for “treatment” had many psychological comorbidities, ranging from depression to anxiety to ADHD to eating disorders to obesity; autism diagnoses were common, too. (Nonetheless, all the youth were recommended for “gender transition.”)

As to the latter, there’s an unconfirmed report that Hale was “autistic but high-functioning.”

She’s also not alone in being a MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status) individual who commits violence. So said reporter Andy Ngo, who’s famous for covering Antifa riots, while appearing on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight Tuesday evening. In fact, he stated that sometimes MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka anomalous-“gender”) individuals would constitute as much as 20 percent of the rioters at a given locale. This is, of course, far above MUSS individuals’ percentage of the wider population.
