• Post-natal Abortion Northam: Virginia Is for Killers?

    Baby in WombBy Selwyn Duke

Many people have been shocked by the prenatal-infanticide developments in New York and, more recently, Virginia. They shouldn’t be. Oh, disgust is certainly warranted. But anything relating to surprise, well, perhaps reflects a deeper problem.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law last week a bill that essentially allows prenatal infanticide up until birth. A Virginia bill that recently failed in committee has caused more controversy still, with critics saying it allowed prenatal infanticide even “during labor” and defenders scoffing at the claim. But if the devil (or at least the disagreement) is in the details here, what’s more interesting is that the devil is in the defenders.

  • Straight Talk: Trump Says Border Security Talks With Dems a Waste of Time

    Donkey-ElephantBy Selwyn Duke

Proving again he’s not a typical politician, President Trump cut through the Kabuki-theater political atmosphere and bluntly stated that the Republicans were “wasting their time” negotiating border security with Democrats, who simply “are not going to give money” to build the wall.

The president also, alluding to politicians labeling any prospective border structure a “barrier” or “fence,” tweeted “Lets [sic] just call them WALLS from now on and stop playing political games! A WALL is a WALL!”

  • Radical Feminist Demands Chivalry! Wants Men to Help Fight “Transgenderism”

    Sex Symbols-ConfusionBy Selwyn Duke

She dismisses the idea of “transitioning.” But that hasn’t stopped radical feminist Kara Dansky from transitioning into a traditionalist, for a moment, and demanding that men “stand up for women and denounce the transgender movement,” as PJ Media puts it. Call it situational chivalry.

  • Rallying the Troops, Globalist “Intellectuals” Warn That the EU is “Coming Apart”

God's Hand Over WorldBy Selwyn Duke

"There are some ideas so absurd that only an intellectual could believe them,” observed 1984 author George Orwell. Intellectuals may fancy themselves to have big ideas. But they’re a small constituency, and now a group of them is complaining about the patriotism of a much larger one: the masses opposing their European Union imperial scheme.

  • Covington and Killing Conservative Dissent

    Silenced ManBy Selwyn Duke

Imagine if you could just disarm your adversaries. In political debate this could mean, as an example, striking from their lips words that could possibly sway others. Now consider that in the recent media smearingof the Covington Catholic High School boys, “Build the wall!” was treated like “hate speech.” The sporting of MAGA caps was practically framed as incitement to riot, with Congressman John Yarmuth (D-Ky.) actually proposing banning teens from wearing them.

    It doesn’t end there.

  • The Ultimate Irony of the ‘Native American Elder’ and the MAGA Hat Kids

    Divided AmericaBy Selwyn Duke

This past weekend’s big news was a big media frame-up of kids and the beating of a leftist drum by a little Indian. There’s no need now to elaborate on how the Covington Catholic High School students may end up being 2019’s most unfairly maligned group; their innocence has already been established. But suffice it to say that with video-recording devices ubiquitous today — and with incidents such as last Friday’s Lincoln Memorial affair shot by multiple people from many angles — if there’s no footage of something that allegedly happened there, it didn’t happen, period.

What did happen was that Talking Bull (Nathan Phillips), a professional agitator and American Indian separatist, was given a forum in which to spew nonsensical ideas. Here’s a prime example: “I heard them [the students] saying ‘build the wall, build that wall,’” he said,” as Vibe reported. “This is indigenous land. We’re not supposed to have walls here. Before anyone came here there were no walls….”

(Actually, the Indians built plenty of walls, as old ruins attest.)

But something occurs to me here: If the Indians had effective border security, perhaps they wouldn’t have been overrun and conquered.

So what’s the message? “We lost the continent…and we can show you how to lose it, too!”?

  • With Dems, AOC and Beto Are, Like, Too Cool and Climate Is, Like, Too Hot

Back to School DuncecapBy Selwyn Duke

Do you, like, like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Robert Francis O’Rourke? If so, join the crowd. The former, branded as “AOC,” and the latter, billing himself as “Beto,” are all the rage among Democrats, even as they rage against billionaires, the weather, the justice system, life, the Universe, and everything.

As for AOC, she’s far from A-OK, warning that if we don’t address climate change, the world will end in 12 years — though we shouldn’t allow billionaires to indulge their wealth as the end approaches. Irish Bob (O’Rourke), a former congressman from Texas, just went On the Road and showed us he’s Jack Kerouac meets Holden Caulfield and way too cool for school. What does all this mean?

    They want your votes.

Cortez lamented Climate Change™ on Monday at a Martin Luther King forum in New York City.

  • Media Shamelessly Frame Covington Kids for Scorn and Abuse

    Snake and AppleBy Selwyn Duke

“Do it for the children” is how the Left sometimes sells a policy. But what the media did for some children (adolescents, actually) this past weekend is worth noting: They viciously maligned a group of Catholic teens who’d attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C., causing them to endure scorn, character assassination, and even threats to their safety.

The story certainly was damning — in how it was portrayed. Mostly white teens in MAGA hats, from Covington Catholic High School (CCHS) in Park Hills, Kentucky, were said to be taunting an American Indian “elder,” identified as Nathan Phillips, at the Lincoln Memorial. A 60-second videoshowed one teen in particular face-to-face with the man, smirking in what was cast as silent mockery, and allegedly blocking his path.

That video and others went viral, resulting in national condemnation, including by some politicians and the boys’ own school. Most disgracefully, the drummed-at boy was doxxed, meaning, his personal information was released to the public. The idea, of course, was to facilitate harassment of him — or worse.

But in keeping with how “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting its boots on,” the reality of what transpired was quite different….

  • Is a “Terrorist” Serial-Killer Gang Murdering Young White Men Nationwide?

    Angel vs. DemonBy Selwyn Duke

It's a shocking claim: A shadowy serial-killing gang, with cells in cities nationwide, has been murdering college-age white men — for more than two decades. It’s suspected the group might have already claimed hundreds of victims. Yet police agencies are uninterested in ferreting out the truth and instead write the killings off as accidents or undetermined. So say three retired NYPD detectives and a criminal-justice professor who have been investigating the deaths.

  • Beto Derided for White Privilege — but His Whiteness Is Actually Hurting Him

    Prejudice SignBy Selwyn Duke

These are not good times to be a white man in the Democrat Party. Just consider the melanin-compromised fellow billing himself as “Beto” O’Rourke. Irish Bob the Mexicon, as some commentators call him (okay, it’s only me), is supposed to be all the rage in leftist circles. Yet now some liberals seem in a rage that a white man is sucking up so much 2020, presidential-prospect oxygen. A case in point is yesterday’s CNN piece “Beto’s excellent adventure drips with white male privilege.”
